Day 1

We will meet you at the airport and take you to one of San Jose 's finest hotels where you will spend your first night.

Day 2 - 3 - Arenal

A rental car will be available to you for your drive to the Arenal Area. Your hotel, nestled at the foot of the Arenal Volcano has all the amenities. A sunset horseback riding tour has been reserved for you on your first day. The next day your special treat is the guided Honeycreeper Canoe Trip down a calm water/small rapids river where you will see a huge variety of wildlife including birds, butterflies, frogs, monkeys, iguanas and more - all in their natural habitat. After lunch on the river, enjoy a swim and a gentle paddle down river and then back to your hotel.

Day 4 - 5 - Monteverde Cloud Forest

You will tell your grandchildren about your adventure to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve . Quaker friendship greets you at your hotel set on a private 150-acre farm adjacent to the reserve. The next day experience the cloud forest either by flying through the forest and over the tree tops by testing your limits on 11 cables and 22 platforms or take a more tranquil walk through the treetops on the Skywalk.

Day 6 - 9 - Tamarindo

Your last major stop is on the Pacific Coast , the ideal place to spend a peaceful yet exciting honeymoon. The area is one of Costa Rica 's most picturesque with lush jungle-covered hills plunging into the blue sea. We have included the romantic Sailing Tour in your itinerary, however, throughout your stay you have a number of optional tours including the following:

Day 10

Make your way back to San Jose allowing about 4 to 5 hours for the trip. Return your rental car and they will take you to your hotel room located about five miles from the airport. Enjoy one more night of fine dining before getting ready to come back home to start your new life together.

Day 11

Our staff will pick you up and take you to the airport in ample time to make your flight home.
