Nella Fiorentini, the owner of Exotur Travel Agency, fell in love with the tourism business from her very first job in a hotel in Costa Rica in the '70s. Tourism in Costa Rica was in its infancy at that time, so she went to Spain to learn everything she needed to know about the travel industry.

She spent five years in Europe learning everything she could from experienced people there so that she could bring it back to her country. She established Exotur in 1992 and has spent her time since then showing visitors the natural beauty of this country.

Costa Rica is developing quickly - some fear too quickly. Through education and exciting first hand experiences, Exotur is doing its part to promote sustainable development in Costa Rica .
